About

Proctor Public Schools is a small, close-knit school district in northeastern Minnesota that serves Proctor and a few nearby areas like Bayview Heights and some surrounding townships. The district includes two elementary schools, a middle school, and Proctor High School, with around 1,900 student's total. Class sizes are pretty small, which means students get more one-on-one attention. The schools focus on building a strong, supportive community, and graduation rates are high—around 95%. They offer all the usual academics along with sports, clubs, and other activities, and the high school teams are known as the Rails. Recently, they just welcomed a new superintendent in 2025. All in all, it’s a district that values connection, education, and giving students a solid foundation for the future.
