"Mars was founded in 1924 as the W.P. & R.S. Mars Company. Its mission at the time was to service the emerging iron mining and timber industries in Northern Minnesota. Bill and Bob Mars Sr. built the company around the philosophy of “finding solutions” and adding a “personal touch.” In 2017, the company rebranded itself as Mars Supply. But even though the name changed and the market served and customer base has expanded, the same business philosophy holds true today as the fifth generation of Mars family members take an active role in personally making sure the company takes good care of our customers. Dedicated to the core values of trust, teamwork and resourcefulness, we work hard to be a valuable partner to our customers."

In 2024, Mars celebrates 100 years in business.
